Dear customers and all our partners,
As we look back on the past year, it has been both dynamic and eventful for us at Kulzer. Personally, it was exciting and enriching. In July 2024, I had the opportunity to rejoin Kulzer – this time as CEO and I am very proud to be part of this great team.
I have witnessed how strong relationships and connections with our customers and partners – with you – help to advance our shared goal: improving oral health and restoring smiles. I would like to thank everyone who has accompanied and supported us during this year; your cooperation and trust are the foundation of our work. On behalf of our team, I wish you all the best and a successful year in which we together continue to advance oral health.
Innovations 2025: What to Look Forward To
Over the past year, we have been working passionately on innovations that we will be presented at the IDS in Cologne from 25–29 March. Looking forward to new products in the field of restoration, a new launch in aesthetics, and a new generation of 3D printing. Additionally, we are excited to present our latest innovation in prosthetics.
Our team and experts in dental technology and dentistry will present these exciting technologies, and you can experience them firsthand. Test our innovations and proven products, immerse yourself in our company, and discover what we stand for: Experience 'Feels like Kulzer'.
I am especially looking forward to meeting you in person and exchanging ideas with you. Come and see us: our team will be waiting for you in Hall 11.2, Stand L010 N019.
Global Challenges in Dental Health
Our innovations are contributing to our mission, to which we will continue to devote our full commitment and passion in 2025: developing solutions that improve oral health. There is still a lot to be done in dental care; access to dental care is not a provided everywhere: Various reports and surveys show that despite progress, millions of people continue to struggle with oral health problems. For example, “one-quarter of U.S. adults aged 20 to 64 have at least one untreated cavity, according to dental statistics from the Centers for Disease and Prevention”1. Almost 2.4 billion people worldwide have little to no access to oral health treatment and care (FDI World Dental Federation, 2024). Even in mature markets such as the USA, access to dental care for children is in need of improvement.
The importance of good dental care increases even further when you consider that it has a decisive influence on overall health. “Research suggests that mouth bacteria can enter an individual’s bloodstream and infect other parts of the body, causing inflammation that may lead to heart disease and more”2.
Driving Better Oral Health Together
With our products and solutions, we continually strive to do our part to improve oral health, but we need to work together with our partners, dentists and dental technicians, because only together can we make a difference and improve oral health even further. We therefore look forward to continuing our successful collaboration in 2025.
Wishing you all the best, good health, and much success for the new year.
Yours
Chris Holden
